Spring Trip
The Marriotts Ridge Music Department takes an annual Spring Trip. We highly encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity. There is so much to be gained by participation on this trip besides the music making component. It fosters important life skills development. It requires students to demonstrate maturity and good decision making skills away from the confines of the school and family environment. It allows our students to participate in high-level competition with students from all across the country.
Although we may re-visit destinations every four years, each time we plan new activities and compete against different schools. Each year promises to be new and exciting! Our students are able to bond and grow as a music community through these experiences. We have found that these bonds last far beyond the students high school years.
The expectation is for all students to participate, but especially if you are in the premier ensembles, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Big Band Jazz.
The 2025 Spring Trip will be to Virginia Beach/Williamsburg, Virginia. Trip includes most meals and admission to the Busch Gardens, Williamsburg theme park.
